Palolea was established to benefit from what the “tree of life,” our beloved olive tree, has to offer.
For thousands of years, Palestinians have depended on olive trees as a main source of income. Generation after generation, the love for this tree, and the place it holds in people’s hearts, has grown. Today, over 80 percent of Palestinian agricultural land is covered with olive trees, while olive oil is by far the most significant Palestinian export.
Palolea is proud to be the first of its kind in the Middle East. While olive orchards cover vast areas of the entire region, no other company in that area has attempted to produce olive leaf extract ever before.
Palolea currently employs over 70 Palestinian workers to gather olive leaves, and harnesses scientific ingenuity to produce the finest olive leaf extract, providing its customers with pure natural goodness.
The company’s participatory approach was designed to ensure that local farmers themselves benefit, by creating job opportunities and recycling what is normally discarded.
Olive trees and their products are national treasures in Palestine. In the same way, Palolea treasures its partnerships with local farmers.
The company is located in the West Bank city of Jericho, just a few miles from the Dead Sea. It is in fact the first company to be established in the Jericho Agro-Industrial Park, which is expected to form one of the main pillars of the Palestinian economy, and is also dubbed the “corridor for peace”.
